The Bharat Sevashram Sangha, established in 1917 by Acharya Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj, is a registered charitable organization with around 500 monks and Brahmacharis. They operate numerous charitable facilities such as dispensaries, hospitals, mobile medical units, ambulances, patient homes, cancer, and leprosy hospitals, tribal welfare centers, and free residential education for 5000 students across various states in collaboration with the Government of India. Additionally, they run schools, technical institutes, women empowerment centers, and youth welfare centers, providing relief during natural calamities nationwide.

Achieving his life’s highest goal at just 20 through intense austerities, he led a disciplined life from his youth, embracing celibacy and a strong moral character. His pure soul, kind heart, polite demeanor, and progressive ideas attracted countless youths and social workers to join him in his socio-religious and humanitarian endeavors.
